Nice stop on a walk

Very nice café in the Merzhausen swimming pool! There are very delicious, homemade cakes! The staff is always friendly and courteous. I can only recommend it!

The café in the bathroom has become my absolute favorite café in Freiburg in the last few weeks and months. From delicious, creamy coffee, which is prepared baristically, to homemade and really amazingly delicious cakes (I've never eaten better anywhere else) to refreshing and also homemade lemonades, everyone will find what the palate rejoices for. Last but not least, I would say about the staff that they are incredibly friendly and accommodating! I would like to give 6/5 stars if that were possible! See for yourself if you think I'm exaggerating!

Drinking coffee outside too

I just say: yeast rolls with cardamom ? Oh, and the cake of course. And before I forget: the coffee And the snacks too. Just great after a swim. Or before. Or best of all: instead ? But don't tell anyone, otherwise the cake will sell out sooner!

So what they do with the cafe is really awesome, suddenly there are crepes, both sweet and savory, the cake is known far beyond the Hexental and now also delicious ice cream from @Eismanufaktur in Herdern. And all of this can be taken to the sunbathing lawn, which is open to everyone from the public pool, and you can enjoy everything in a park with tables and deck chairs. Just great........

I often just come over for coffee and cake. There is good coffee, delicious cakes and very friendly service.

We are very satisfied and visit the café in the bathroom more often. Very good cake and good food. The operators are very friendly.

Best cake from all Merzhausen / Freiburg. No industrial goods but the finest art of baking. Outstanding!
